CoolTone in Medford and Grants Pass, OR
CoolTone is a body contouring treatment from the same makers of CoolSculpting. CoolTone Before and After Results*
The amazing muscular enhancement of this procedure is demonstrated in CoolTone before and after images. As with all body contouring procedures, results may vary.*
How CoolTone Works
CoolTone utilizes magnetic muscle stimulation technology that penetrates your skin and the layers of fat to get to the muscle layer. Recently cleared by the FDA, the CoolTone device offers 50% more magnetic intensity than any other similar equipment.
The high-powered coil electromagnetic stimulation induces involuntary muscle contractions to which your body responds by strengthening the muscle fibers. The device targets a combination of muscle fibers and groups that can be addressed with exercise as well as those that can not. (Some muscle contractions and conditioning that occur during treatment cannot be achieved through regular exercise.) The result is enhanced muscle conditioning, a firmer abdomen, buttocks, and thighs, and an overall more toned appearance.
The CoolTone Procedure
The treatment takes between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the area being treated and requires no anesthesia. The CoolTone device sends energy into your body to contract your muscle tissue.
An estimated 25,000 muscle contractions can occur during your treatment. Your muscles adapt to the intensity and change to develop muscle tissue that leads to a better toned and contoured appearance. The intensity can be as light as you want but it is recommended for a moderate high to high level for better results.
HOW COOLTONE TECHNOLOGY WORKS
CoolTone’s Magnetic Muscle Stimulation, or MMS technology, penetrates through the skin and fat layers to target only the muscle layer, inducing involuntary muscle contractions.
The body’s response to these contractions is to strengthen its muscle fibers, resulting in improved muscle conditioning.
After treatments, abdomen, buttocks, and thighs are firmer and have a more defined and toned appearance.
COOLSCULPTING VS COOLTONE
Allergan is the proud maker of both CoolSculpting and CoolTone. While CoolSculpting is typically the most popular treatment, CoolTone is its impressive counterpart. In fact, many people find it beneficial to combine CoolSculpting with CoolTone to transform their bodies completely.
Though they share part of the same name, CoolTone doesn’t “cool” any fat away the way CoolSculpting freezes. While CoolSculpting uses technology to freeze away your fat cells, which die off and reduce overall fat over time, CoolTone™ uses technology to stimulate your muscles to tone and tighten them. Using both of these treatments in conjunction can actually provide the best results overall.
While results vary, most patients find their muscles to be tighter, with more definition visible after two weeks of treatment. However, for maximum results, it typically takes between 8-10 weeks to see the full clinical result following 4 treatments done within a two-week timeframe. As always, results will vary.*
CoolTone won’t replace regular workouts but can be an excellent adjunct to working out, and many patients have seen their abilities increase after treatments. Though not a cardiovascular exercise, patients have reported their stamina and overall performance in their regular cardio workouts have improved after treatment. Similarly, strength training workouts can improve as well after treatments.
Typically, CoolTone results last 3 to 6 months. The results are temporary since they gradually go away if you don’t continue to build and strengthen your muscles.
Yes, CoolTone is an FDA-cleared device for effortlessly toning and contouring main muscle groups, including the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, and more.
CoolTone uses magnetic strength to activate muscles and help them perform rapid muscle contractions. The results improve muscle strength, tone, and definition. In addition, treatments make the skin look firmer and prompt a reduction in fat cells in the treatment area.
There will be no downtime after your CoolTone treatment. However, you will experience mild muscle soreness for a few days. This soreness is equivalent to what you would feel after an intense workout in the gym.
The primary purpose of a CoolTone treatment is to work the muscles. It targets the abs, glutes, and thighs to build strong, firm, toned muscles. While CoolTone can result in smoother, firm-looking skin, you may need a different treatment if cellulite is a primary concern.
